CPLL would like to invite each and every family that participated in College Park Little League Baseball and Softball to join us for appreciation day.  The date and time of the event is July 25th from 4 - 6:30pm at Trotters Park.  We will be grilling hamburgers, hotdogs and sausages for all to enjoy at no cost.  If you would like to bring something to throw on the grill feel free.  We will also be supplying the drinks.  This is just a small token of appreciation the league can show you for how much we value your families.  There are many activities the kids could choose and we are grateful that they have chosen College Park Little League and we hope they will continue to be part of this fantastic league.

We will also be hosting the 2010 College Park Little League Homerun Derby at appreciation day.  The kids that are eligible to participate are kids that hit at least 1 homerun during the regular season.  If you are participating you need to bring a pitcher with you to pitch while you are hitting.  Each participant will get 10 outs.  If the batter swings and it does not result in a homerun it will be counted as an out.  The top 2 participants of the first round will advance to the finals round(if there are more than 2 kids tied for the top 2 spots each of those kids will advance).  The finals will be like the first round with the most homeruns in that round resulting in the winner.  If there is a tie at the end of the finals there will be a sudden death round where each batter will get 1 pitch until there is a winner.
